Objectives: By observing videos surgeon will be able to < br/2>. Learn the technique of repair of simple vesicovaginal fistula by vaginal route < br>/2, learn the tricks to excess to repair high supranational vault fistula by vaginal route, which are mostly repaired by abdominal route< br>/ 3. Increase success rate of fistula repair by observing basic principles of fistula repair.
Methods: One thousand and ninety nine patients with vesicovaginal fistulae were operated at Isra University Hospital Hyderabad Pakistan between Nov 2011 to Dec 2024. All patients were operated by vaginal route by observing basic surgical principles such as proper position of patient on operation table ( Trendelenburg position with maximum head down tilt with bottom of patient about 6 inches below the edge of table), good mobilisation of vaginal wall from underlying bladder ( about 2 cm) and water tight tension closure.
Clinical Relevance: Fistula was successful closed in 1919 (96%) patients
