Resident Physician
Ochsner Clinic Foundation
Dr. Caroline DeGraw is a third-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the Ochsner Health System in New Orleans. She earned her medical degree from LSUHSC-Shreveport, where she was the President of their chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association. During medical school, her interest in pelvic floor disorders was sparked when she was able to observe a colpocleisis. This was solidified in residency when she was able to participate in one. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Southern Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry.
Her current presentation at the American Urogynecologic Society meeting highlights some of the beneficial outcomes from a multidisciplinary clinic involving the Division of URPS and Department of Colon & Rectal Surgery, which aims to provide more collaborative and comprehensive care for patients experiencing more complex pelvic floor disorders
Dr. DeGraw's dedication extends beyond the clinic where she is an active member of her residency’s program curriculum review committee as well as the labor and delivery safety committee. Outside of her clinical and research responsibilities, she enjoys game nights and book club with her friends.
