Keila Muñiz, MD, is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist and reconstructive pelvic surgeon at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She then completed a clinical and research fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins. Her research focuses on patient education, culturally responsive care, and bowel disorders in urogynecology. Dr. Muñiz is committed to expanding access to pelvic health services for Hispanic and underserved populations and to fostering mentorship and diversity within medicine.
