Dr. Sassani received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sassani is board-certified in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and current works in the Division of Urogynecology at West Penn Hospital of Allegheny Healthy Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also serves as the Director of Resident Research for the West Penn Hospital ObGyn residency program.
