Dr. Candace Parker-Autry is an Associate Professor at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, N.C where she serves as a Urogynecologist and Clinical Researcher with a focus on the clinical care of women with geriatric incontinence. In addition to her clinical practice and research, she serves a surgical teacher in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Urology and is core faculty in their Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. She received her Medical Doctorate from Wake Forest School of Medicine, her residency in OB/GYN from the University of Pennsylvania, and fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research has been NIH funded and focuses on elevating our knowledge and treatment for the geriatric urinary incontinence and the impact of perioperative frailty on postoperative mobility and independence.
