My name is Dr. Adi Reuveni Salzman, MD, I am a urogynecologist specializing in pelvic floor disorders and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery unit, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Hadassah- Hebrew University Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel.
I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and advanced training in Female Pelvic Medicine at Hadassah Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. During my fellowship, I focused on minimally invasive surgical approaches, including advanced laparoscopic procedures and complex pelvic reconstructive surgeries.
I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals in female pelvic medicine and gynecology and have presented my research at major international conferences. My recent work, which is presented at the current conference, has been supported by a research grant from the Santé Québec Network for Research on Aging for the study “vNOTES Uterosacral Ligament Hysteropexy for Pelvic Organ Prolapse;” I also received previous research awards from Hadassah Medical Center and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Teaching and mentorship are central to my professional mission. I have delivered lectures, facilitated journal clubs, and provided bedside teaching for medical students and OBGYN residents at both Hadassah and McGill University. During my fellowship, I was honored to receive the Best Fellow Teacher Award from residents in recognition of my commitment to education.
