Dr. Caroline Lachance is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montreal (CHUM). Dr. Lachance earned her medical degree in 2012 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2017 in Quebec City at Laval University. She completed a fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstruction through the McGill University network in 2019. She is one of the specialists involved with the CHUM Center of Expertise on Mid Urethral Sling Complications. She served as Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine (CSPM) from 2021 to 2024 and was the Eastern Quebec representative on the CSPM's administrative committee from 2019 to 2021, during the society's founding. Her main interests are stress and latent urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and minimally invasive surgery.
