Michelle Y. Morrill, M.D., is an Associate Editor for Urogynecology, the official journal of the American Urogynecologic Society, and has been a member of the journal’s editorial team since 2010. She is also a frequent peer reviewer for other gynecology journals and leads the peer review curriculum for the Kaiser Oakland/UCSF URPS fellowship program.
Dr. Morrill earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Colgate University then attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons for her Medical Degree. Her residency in Ob/Gyn was at Thomas Jefferson University before she moved to the west coast for URPS fellowship at University of California San Diego. Her clinical interests focus on hospital systems-based quality improvement. She currently serves as the Surgical Quality Lead and co-chairs the Highly Reliable Surgical Team Committee at Kaiser San Francisco Hospital, where she maintains robust practice in urogynecology. Additionally, she has completed training in CREST and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
