Dr. Emily Hinchcliff is an Assistant Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at Northwestern Medicine and serves as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program Director. Dr. Hinchcliff received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where she stayed to complete her residency training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated OBGYN Residency program. She then completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center during which time she also received her Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health, with a concentration in clinical trial design and epidemiology. Her clinical research focuses on the role of the tumor immune microenvironment, clinical trial design, and novel therapeutics within gynecologic cancers, as well as their impact on patient outcomes.
