Dr. Marisa Duong is a third year OBGYN resident at Wake Forest University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William & Mary in 2019. Her passion for urogynecology stems from an admiration for the emphasis on quality of life, patient-drive goals, and dedication to restoring function and dignity to patients. Her research portfolio includes multiple quality improvement projects and clinical studies focused on optimizing surgical outcomes and patient care. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences including the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons and International Urogynecologic Association meetings.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Duong enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants, finding inspiration in diverse cultures and cuisines.
