Dr. Cardenas-Trowers serves as the Division Chief of Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix. Prior to joining, she was core faculty at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cardenas-Trowers is active in research and education. She has been awarded research funding and has authored several peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. She is a national speaker and holds leadership positions on national committees including the American Urogynecologic Society and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
