Fellowship Program Director/Associate Professor
Hartford Hospital, UCONN Medical School
University of Connecticut Medical School
I am a board-certified urogynecologist at Hartford Hospital where I am Urogynecology Fellowship Program Director. I also have a position as an Associate Professor at UCONN Medical School and work closely with OBGYN residents and medical students. I completed my OBGYN residency at Baystate Medical Center and then a fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. I have been at Hartford Hospital since graduating from fellowship and have contributed to the growth of our successful division and to the training fellows who have graduated to become expert surgeons, teachers and leaders.
I have been a course director for an annual surgical cadaver course in the New England region. I have successfully organized and led 12 courses that have attracted 20-30 fellows from the entire New England region as well as upstate New York. In addition I have developed and validated several surgical simulation models for gynecologic trainees.
I am proud to be a volunteer for AUGS on various committees including Fellowship Training Committee, PFD Week program committee as well as on the editorial board for the Urogynecology Journal.
I am passionate about clinical outcomes research, education research including simulation, surgical education and coaching.
