Heidi Harvie, MD, MSCE, MBA, is an Associate Professor of OBGYN at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the Director of Urogynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital and the Assistant Director of the Division of Urogynecology. She did her Residency in OBGYN and her Urogynecology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She obtained an MBA in Health Care and MSCE (Health Services Research Tract) at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the Wharton School and the co-leader of the Identifying High-Value Health Care Working Group at LDI. Dr. Harvie’s research interests include comparative effectiveness, health related quality of life measures, and cost-effectiveness. She is the Principal Investigator from the Penn site in the NICHD Pelvic Floor Disorders Network (PFDN), Chair of a multi-site trial, and developed the cost-effectiveness protocols for all ongoing clinical trial within the PFDN.
