Resident Physician

Deepthisri Suresh is a third-year resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Montefiore Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine with plans to pursue fellowship training in FPMRS. She is passionate about advocacy and equity in women’s health, with research spanning maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, and urogynecology, focusing on gaps in access to care. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive and robotic surgery, interdisciplinary pelvic floor care, and global health initiatives such as fistula repair. She hopes to build a career in academic medicine, combining surgical excellence, equity-driven research, global health engagement, and mentorship of future trainees. She is excited to be part of the AUGS community and to continue learning from leaders in the field at the 2025 PFD week.
