Bertie Geng is a second year urogynecology fellow at the University of North Carolina. She was born on Long Island, New York but spent the first few years of her life living in China with her grandparents. She moved back to New York in elementary school and lived there until moving to Connecticut for college. She graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with distinction in the major of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental biology. She then continued her education at the Yale School of Medicine. After completing her OBGYN residency at Yale, she moved to North Carolina to join the urogynecology department at UNC.
